Well macbook pro speakers are exceptional so the change in quality is gonna be a lot bigger on most laptops
I like the Presonus the Adams are just “To much” for me
I would go with the Adams. The presonous mid range sound like it’s dipped. If you can get a solid mix on the Adams it will translate to bigger speakers once you get in Control room A.
